Description: The product database tree is the primary window used throughout SigQC. It contains a hierarchical list of products, production line sequences, acceptance tests, acceptance test cases, product data pools and data pool filters that have been defined for the currently open database. The product items represent the top level in the product database tree and are used to represent products manufactured at the facility. You should create one product item for each product model to be tested on your production lines. Acceptance tests are used to manage a series of noise and vibration tests to be performed on production units as they come off the production line. Acceptance test cases are used to uniquely classify one or multiple modes of failure for a product. Inspection of measured production unit data occurs at the acceptance test case level.
