Serial I/O Preferences
<< Previous
Description: SigQC supports a programmable language for serial communication with the PLC using RS232 transfer protocol. You must define the input and output command messages that will be required to communicate with the PLC. Input commands are serial commands received by the application from the PLC. Output commands are commands that the application dispatches to the PLC. Within the production line display, you may add steps that wait for serial commands or send serial commands. For example, you may insert a step which waits for a command containing the serial number of a production unit.
