Test Case Reject Criteria
<< Previous
Description: In many instances, only a portion of the measured function is relevant to a specific failure mode. In these situations, testing over the entire domain of the function would imply testing of data which is statistically insignificant. In the worst scenario, this may result in the rejection of a perfectly good production unit. For this reason, you may create one or multiple reject criteria within an acceptance test case. Reject criteria serve to limit the region over which the measured function will be inspected. Individual reject criteria may be named to reflect a specific mode of failure.
