Test Case Statistics Display
<< Previous
Description: An acceptance test case is developed by defining a list of measured functions that is representative of an acceptable product operating under normal conditions. This list of measured functions will be termed the target data pool of the acceptance test case. From the target data pool, a single normal target vibration or audible sound condition may be established using statistical analysis. This calculated function is referred to as the target function of the acceptance test case. Finally, tolerance limits may be developed using some computed statistical parameter relative to the target function. The tolerance limits serve as criteria for accepting good units and rejecting defective units. You may add certain restrictions to the tolerance limits (Caps/Gaps) and introduce smearing to account for variances in the domain of the measured data.
